“I developed my passion for working with children and youth throughout my education and training. This passion has led me to become well versed in child and adolescent development principles, and these principles are fundamental in structuring how I work with clients.
When I see clients, I operate from the perspective that each individual is an expert in their own life and can learn to solve problems when supported.
I guide clients toward developing the skills, awareness, and tools that they need to alleviate and respond to their problems.
Ultimately, my role as a therapist is to facilitate clients' realization of their potential through skill teaching, non-directive exploration, supportive caring, and education.
I continue to engage in ongoing professional development to ensure that I am better able to assist and support my clients.”
